LUX Talks 2026 / Dai Manuel
Fuel the Driver.
The 2% Leader. A 35-minute session about looking after the person your team depends on, with a little movement, honest conversation and a practical Monday plan.

Your speaker
Dai Manuel. Coach Moose.
Dai is a Vancouver keynote speaker, TEDx speaker, coach and author of The 2% Solution. Nearly thirty years in fitness have taken him from one-to-one coaching to the boardroom and the stage.
He runs MERGE Fitness Inc. and co-owns CrossFit BC with his wife, Christie. A former Chief Operating Officer, he knows the decisions, pressures and people behind a leadership role. He still coaches on the gym floor.
His talks are plain-spoken and interactive. The point is not another perfect routine. It is one useful practice you can carry back to your team.

Check your tank
Compare the leader you are on a difficult Monday with the one your team needs. Notice the gap without turning it into a judgement.
Move. Still. Grow.
Explore the 15/5/10 practice: fifteen minutes of movement, five minutes of stillness and ten minutes of learning. Thirty minutes, about two percent of a day.
Make Monday easier
Choose one team ritual, decide who leads it and name how you will know it has stuck. Miss a day? Make the next one smaller.
