What does it cost to book Dai Manuel?+
Keynotes start at $3,000 CAD, plus travel outside Vancouver. A guided workshop starts at $4,000 CAD for a half day, an emcee engagement at $2,500 CAD for a half day, and a lunch-and-learn is $500 CAD plus $50 per attendee. Other formats are quoted after the brief, once the scope of the event is clear. The full rate table is in the media kit.
What is included in the speaking fee?+
The talk itself, a planning call to shape it to your audience, and travel coordination. Every talk is tailored: Dai learns who is in the room and what they are dealing with before he writes a word.
How do we book Dai for our event?+
Three steps. Hold a date on the speaking calendar, or send the enquiry form with your event details. Dai replies personally within two business days. Once the brief, date and fee are agreed, the date is confirmed.
Can we hold a date before committing?+
Yes. The calendar lets you request a hold and you get a confirmation by email. Nothing is final until Dai confirms the details with you personally.
How far in advance should we book?+
Three to six months is comfortable for most events, and earlier means more date options. Shorter notice sometimes works, especially for Vancouver events and virtual talks. The calendar shows live availability.
Does the fee cover travel?+
Keynotes start at $3,000 CAD, plus travel outside Vancouver. Events in Vancouver carry no travel cost, and virtual keynotes carry none at all.
Can Dai emcee our event as well as give the keynote?+
Yes. He emcees full events, handling pacing, transitions and the room between speakers. Emcee work can be combined with a keynote.
Can the talk be tailored to our event theme?+
Yes. Talks are shaped to the event and the audience. Send the theme and the room details and the talk is built around them.
Does Dai speak outside Vancouver?+
Yes. Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, Edmonton, Ottawa, Victoria and across Canada, and further afield when it fits. Virtual keynotes are available anywhere.
What topics does he speak on?+
Seven signature talks: the 2% Solution, leading change, burnout in high performers, men's mental health (his TEDx talk), safe learning environments, simple nutrition and connection. Each can be shaped to the event.

Send the press request form on the media kit page. It lands directly in Dai's inbox, and he replies personally, usually within two business days. Include your outlet, deadline and what you need.
Can we use Dai's bio for our programme?+
Yes. The media kit carries two approved versions, a short bio and a full bio, written to be copied straight into an event programme, article or introduction.
Where do we get photos and speaking clips?+
The media kit holds approved press photos and speaking clips, plus the full PDF download. For original files, captions or usage questions, send the press request form.
