Breakfast is by far one of the most important meals of the day for me. Over the years I've learned what works best for me from a diet perspective - there are foods that work well for me and then there's foods that don't. I find when I eat a breakfast that is higher in protein, my energy levels tend to stay rather consistent as long as I am sure to eat every 2.5 to 3 hours.
However, that being said, what is the best meal one can opt to eat first thing in the morning? This is a debate that many people struggle with every morning (if they eat breakfast at all!).
