I Love Chicken on the BBQ (I'm all about grill-therapy) #Chickendotca

I love grill therapy... something about BBQ'ing that calm the soul.[/caption]
Summer to me is all about the BBQ. The smell of roasted vegetables and BBQ'd chicken brings a smile to my face. It's also a time for family, friends and relaxing (and of course, grill therapy eliminates stress). What does BBQ'ing mean to you?
Alongside the ritual of barbecues in my family comes a marriage of our passion for 3 things.

When I think about sunsets I remember a classic sermon by Charles E. Jefferson entitled, " The Meaning of the Sunset". He opens up asking the question:
My wife Christie is great for this. She always makes a point to stop and take in every sunset that she can. She reminds us of the awesomeness unfolding in front of us and challenges us to take it all in. Barbecuing on the balcony during these twilight hours is perfect for taking some time to absorb the last rays of sun.
The day has been long, work was stressful, and I'm feeling pent-up from the day that was. The grill on the balcony overlooking the cityscape becomes my solace. I revel in my time to sit and watch as the chicken grills. Realizing that with the time that I have I can unwind and let all the stress of the day evaporate away...
I'm all about the GRILL THERAPY. Have you tried it before? Any stories to share?
Let's be honest, we all love to create things. But there's few things that we can create and experience instant gratification like preparing a family meal. Whether hours go into prep or only minutes, the act of making something to be enjoyed by those closest to you is rewarding in itself.
I love to BBQ period. But what I love most is firing up the barbecue knowing full well that I'm feeding my family and take pride in the result.
How about you? Do you share in this love of enjoying a meal with family?

This is my disclaimer, “Just so you know, I have been compensated to share my ideas on this topic. Sometimes it is in the form of products, or services or even money… But here’s the thing; I won’t share anything with you that I don’t fully support. It doesn't matter what it is, or how much they are willing to give me, if I don’t believe in it, It won’t be on my site. Seriously. You’ll just have to trust me on this.”

3 Reasons why I love Chicken on the Barbecue
- Sunsets
- A moment of meditation and personal reflection
- Enjoying the process of creation
Sunsets

When I think about sunsets I remember a classic sermon by Charles E. Jefferson entitled, " The Meaning of the Sunset". He opens up asking the question:
How many sunsets have you seen during this last week, this last month, this last year? How many have you seen in the last ten years, the last twenty, the last thirty?
My wife Christie is great for this. She always makes a point to stop and take in every sunset that she can. She reminds us of the awesomeness unfolding in front of us and challenges us to take it all in. Barbecuing on the balcony during these twilight hours is perfect for taking some time to absorb the last rays of sun.
A Moment of Meditation (aka Grill Therapy)
The day has been long, work was stressful, and I'm feeling pent-up from the day that was. The grill on the balcony overlooking the cityscape becomes my solace. I revel in my time to sit and watch as the chicken grills. Realizing that with the time that I have I can unwind and let all the stress of the day evaporate away...
