Just a quick blog post today.
After much deliberation I accepted the fact that I needed a day off from my Crossfit training. In lieu of my typical WOD I opted to get back to Bikram’s Yoga (after all I’m paying a monthly membership fee which I haven’t been using). The workout was great – if you haven’t tried it yet, picture yourself doing yoga in a 40 degree Celsius/104 Fahrenheit room (very sauna-like). At first it was tough, but got a little easier as I progressed through the next 90 minutes.
If you are looking for something to compliment your workouts, I highly recommend trying yoga of any sort. I’m feeling great today and plan to get a new PB on my deadlifts. Will keep you posted.
