Man, it has been a long, long time since I’ve posted anything about my workouts. I have to say, as much as I hate to admit it, I’ve been busy! I’ve been working out half-assed and not training with purpose or goals in mind.
Recently, I’ve started to train 5 people out of my garage gym (pics to come shortly of the setup). In coaching/training these people it has revitalized my own fire to get training again! Thank god, because I’ve been an irritable punk since I feel off the wagon. My personal WOD tonight after 2 back-to-back training sessions included two phases (warm-up & workout).
Warm-up (10 minutes max):
- 1st minute – 1 static pull-up, 1 ring-dip;
- 2nd minute – 2 static pull-ups, 2 ring-dip; etc etc…
I only made it through 6 rounds… man, I’m out of shape (the pull-ups were strong, but the ring dips… OMG! Brutal)
WOD – 10 rounds of the following (time constraint – 20 minute max)
- 10 x 135lbs Dead lifts
- 10 x push ups
In 14 minutes I completed 100 deadlifts and 100 push ups… was feeling good, but my triceps were burning from the ring dips.
